Currently, Russell Gibb is the Director of the company and responsible for ensuring the timely servicing of work flowing into the business. He uses a network of trusted professionals to satisfy demand. Although starting life as an electronics and systems design engineer in the military sector, over the past ten years Russell has mostly been involved in the microgeneration and energy efficiency sector. Russell is a firm believer in attention to detail, tight standards and good quality control. 

He has been responsible for the successful sizing of hundreds, and actual installation of over fifty heat pump systems throughout South and West Scotland.In addition to his engineering career, Russell’s relevant training and qualifications include:

  • MCS Heat Pump Installer competency gained through Experience Worker Route qualification
  • Domestic Energy Assessor and Green Deal Advisor
  • MSc with Distinction in Susatinable Energy Technologies from Glasgow Caledonian University
  • BSC-CNAA (Hons) Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, award 2.1 from Paisley College of Technology 
  • Member of the Institute of Electical and Electronic Engineers
  • City & Guilds 2372 Certificate in Installing and Testing Domestic Photovoltaic Systems
  • Chartered Electrical Engineer with City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS7671 2008)
